History FAIL!

"I had my kids way back, in the 1970's. They were complicated births, because they hadn't invented the C-section yet."

Hey! A post right up my alley!

C-sections were invented in the primordial ooze. They just didn't produce living women until the 1870s.

So, she was off by a century. Obviously just a tad addled. Like so many of your patients.

The stork must have brought them.

Back then they did B sections. A sections were outdated by then.

Do all doctors have such "special" patients or is Dr. Grumpy especially blessed with such entertaining folks?

My father was delivered by C-section in 1947. Yeah, they didn't have them in the 1970s.

Then, in 1981, they rewrote "Macbeth" and introduced a new character called "Macduff." This later inspired George Lucas.

Am I the only one who thinks it strange that this woman thinks c-sections are less complicated than natural childbirth?

Who cares that she doesn't know when they were invented.
