Look, people, if you're going to steal clothes from Wal-Mart by putting on new ones in the dressing room, then leaving your old ones behind and wearing the new ones out of the store...
You should ALWAYS remember to remove your wallet and ID from your old pants before abandoning them.
Here's the story.

Walwart, there's a surprise.
ReplyDeletePreachin' to the choir, Grumpy. It's what I always do.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a call I overheard on the police scanner at work once.
ReplyDeleteGuy ran his truck into a telephone pole and ran on foot from the crash. Cops show up and find a bunch of beer cans in the bed of the truck. The truck has no plates on them so the cops can't find who owns the truck that way but the idiot left his wallet with his drivers license on the seat, like it was just waiting for the cops to look in the window and see it.
only in america do we get the terminally stupid ... and they all shop at walmart which is why i don't
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
ReplyDeleteWhen he was 15 a friend of mine was spending time with some 'friends' who weren't particularly smart. They decided to go to a store and shoplift some clothes by taking some into a dressing room and then putting some on under the clothes they were wearing.
ReplyDeleteThey all grabbed a bunch of things to "try on" and went into the dressing rooms. Most went in with 4-5 things and came out with 3-4 things they "didn't want", but one of the rocket scientists went in with 2 things and came out with nothing. They got caught.
Fortunately my friend wised up to the stupidity of his friends. Due to his age and that it was his first offense he got put into a "do this and we scrub your records" thing. We taunted him for years about being "a felon". He's now 30+ with a good job, married, with kids, and he's never done anything half as stupid again. .
(Yes, I know he wasn't really a felon.)
The comments always have me laughing like a loon.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you choose Wal-Mart of all places to steal clothes from....?
ReplyDeleteThat's like the return I took at Banana Republic years ago. A pair of jeans bought on Saturday, returned on Sunday. When we asked if she had worn them out Saturday night, she said no. So we asked why she had her ID and wadded up cash in the pocket. They went back out the door with her.
ReplyDeleteAre clothes from Walmart really worth stealing?
