That one surely came straight out of the mouth of former Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff. Seriously, go look up some of their quotes (assuming someone managed to translate them from the Dilmish dialect of portuguese to english).
Too much. Too much. We're living 1984, not Ground Hog's Day. 1984. My normally calm brother is sending me Youtube videos that have been sequestered or 'taken down and resurrected' about PHDs making videos about virus videos or conspiracies of videos about viruses. My normally sweet and well-grounded sister is sending me videos about removed videos of Dr Anthony Fauci and his conspiracies or videos of of his ex-employee conspiracies. Too much, I say.
My sister the school nurse is asking me to sew masks and my sewing machine doesn't work. Masks out of tee-shirts, masks out of tea towels, teabags masks out of coffee filters. Masks out of vacuum cleaner filters. Masks from ...
My support group is teaching me how to do Zoom and it's zooming beyond me. I'm muting the participants, myself, then turning them into zombies.
My employers are getting ready for a surge that's still to come, yet there's still stupidity out there. My spouse says there's no medicine for stupidity.
What about the systems that were not reviewed? I mean the other, other systems? Were they reviewed? If they were reviewed, were they found to be positive or negative, or indifferent?
How can we be sure those negative systems weren't about to become positive given a five-day incubation period?
The royal dukes of york want to know if it is so that they should be halfway up or halfway down, or somewhere in between. It's not rocket science, you know. We're dealing with intuition and what we should be telling the people to keep them from panicking. But, some intuition is of higher caliber than others.
There'll be rioting in the streets and the stock market will fall precipitously. I say, andd torch burning, too. Torch-burnings. This is not a + b = c, but an almighty guess that goes along with a political agenda. Surely we know those negatives were going to turn positive any minute, now. Any second.
I'm starting to lose it, if I ever had it. Do you know of any good psychiatrist taking new telehealth clients? Help. Dr G. Mayday. Mayday.
Makes sense

ReplyDeleteAll bases covered. Inarguable logic.
ReplyDeleteIs this the medical version of Who's on First?
ReplyDeleteDeeply profound!!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't they be zero or imaginary?
ReplyDeleteDid they check to make sure they are positive they aren't negative? Because that could cause a negative outcome which would positively be negative.
ReplyDeleteSigh. Has another governor tried to lift COVID restrictions?
ReplyDeleteThe Department of Redundancy Department strikes again.
