But a recent post about Mrs. Foote losing her shoe heel inspired me to dig through the office's "lost and found" drawer. It needed to be cleaned out, anyway.
Besides an unclaimed pair of sunglasses and a make-up case, I found these abandoned items:

And, somewhat ironically, this was in the drawer, too.
Sixth one down I think is the tool to unlock bathroom doors (household not public).

ReplyDelete6th one down looks like a fire extinguisher pin, but there is something odd about it, like a square bar welded to a ring, instead of a smoothly bent wire like most of them are these days.

Don is right -- the "I have no idea what this is" item is a curtain tieback. One of your pts is STILL trying to figure out what happened to it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, sixth one down does appear to be a fire extinguisher pin. Why someone is walking around with it . . . Just check the office extinguishers and the ones in the building.

ReplyDelete6th one down appears to be one of the finger rings seen on trumpets. It's usually a square bar w/ a ring on it like that, which then fits into a corresponding square tube that has a thumbscrew to tighten at the appropriate length.
ReplyDeleteThe electrical tap actually appears to be self fusing insulating/waterproofing silicone tape. That stuff is awesome.
