I think that is one of those questions they dump in to see if you are actually paying attention or just clicking randomly. Google surveys does it to me occasionally, either that or it genuinely does want to know how many people think that Utah is a country....
Those are "are you really still paying attention" questions - good survey designers (and bad ones who know their survey is likely to be SO BORING you won't stay awake past #10) put those in so they can discard the surveys that were done on autopilot.
Every single day in September is a day in September, unless you want to count that day in October that seemed like it should've been in September, and then there was that day in August that was not quite in September, yet, but the sky was just clear blue enough and the leaves had started turning, and one could smell the hint of mold in the overturned soil and autumn humidity and hear birds flocking in the early morning. That should've been a day in September, but I guess it wasn't.
So, yeah, um, let me refer to that little ditty, 30 days hast September, April, June, and November...
Aside from how wonky the question is in that poll, how is one supposed to answer that? September has a 26th and a 28th as well as a 30th. I'd probably choose 32 as the answer, assuming that this weird question was phrased incorrectly.
"Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November. All the rest have thirty one, except February, which has four and twenty four, And leap year gives it one day more."
They didn't even make one of them 31 to make it challenging!

ReplyDeleteThey are funny, though, when done correctly.

"Thirty days hath September, all the rest I don't remember."
ReplyDeleteI started singing the stupid song, too. At least it got "Uptown Funk" out of my head temporarily.
ReplyDeleteI never learned the song, I do this thing with my knuckles. All the months with 31 days land on knuckles, the short ones land in the gaps in between.
ReplyDeleteAll of the above?

ReplyDeleteThe old riddle - how many months have 28 days in them. The answer? They all do.

Do you remember the 21st night of September?
ReplyDeleteLove was changing the mind of pretenders while chasing the clouds away.
Our hearts were ringing in the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night, remember how the stars stole the night away?
