I'm with the French spelling dilemma (anonymous), but to me it appears that she was questioning herself where to put the little accent mark. I'd question the matter myself if I had been pretending I knew something about the French language. But, I know I only know what I learned at age 6 in the school enrichment program: eight colors, counting to from one ten, to ask for 'pain' and 'fromage' si'l vou plait, je taime, and the difference between poison and fish. (As one of 'those' kids, I learned German in school since my French Quebecois mother did not teach her children at the more malleable age before elementary school.)
Oh, this one is easy, She wasn't sure if it was two E's or one E...But she knew how to spell boyfriend. It has only one E.
ReplyDeleteShe's letting you know that you still have a shot with her?
ReplyDeleteSmart move, pal!
