Don't want to pay your copay? Okay, let's see what happens when your insurance company learns of this. Oh dear, THEY fired you for breaking your contract? So sorry to hear that. A$$hat.
How long did it take Mary to write the letter discharging the patient from the practice? People don't realize that doctors can fire their patients as well. Especially the ones who chose to abuse the staff.
So glad you stand up for your staff! Too bad hospital nurses don't get that same level of humanity. I can't even begin to tell you all the things I have been called. People are just amazing.
Can I come work for you Dr G?? I'm tired of my office manager giving in to these type of patients, my lips hurt from all the ass I have to kiss every day.
"How to pick up girls, step one: a mild and playful insult, or 'neg,' to show her that she doesn't intimidate you. Man, by the time I finish this book, I'm gonna be a total babe magnet!"
sounds like your patients have a tendency to make great tourettes like insults. maybe next time they will say shitballs asswipe or something to poor Mary. Way to kick them out for being so lame.
Yikes. Waive the co-pay???? It would never OCCUR to me to demand that. Eedjits. Glad you and Mary turfed 'em. At the practice where I receive primary care, you pay the co-pay before you are seen FOR SURE.
I wish my boss would take this as seriously as you do. All I get is "well you must have pissed him/her off!"

ReplyDeleteOne of my docs requires the co pay before he sees patients. The staff said they got tired of people who "forgot" to bring a way to pay with them.
ReplyDeleteDon't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!
ReplyDeleteWow! The nerve of some people.
How many days until your vacation? Sounds like you need it yesterday!

ReplyDeletePoor Mary!! And YAY for you for showing the door!
ReplyDeleteIsn't waiver of copay considered fraud on the part of the doc?
