I'm too tired and sick with the crud to write something new.
It's been a rough year for her, but at 15 Blackdog is still with us and doing better.
So I once again wish you guys...
A very happy New Year, from the dogs of Grumpy Neurology, Inc.
Zoom (Annie)
Spaz and Fizzy (Mary)
And last, but not least, Cooper, Snowball, and Blackdog (Dr. Grumpy)
Cooper isn't as fat as he looks. He's 80% fur. He got shaved down last week, and now weighs 12 lbs. And he DOES NOT like it, either.
Hope 2011 brings you better health, happy dogs, children and spouse, and many, many more interesting patients.
ReplyDeleteHow could we live without them? Well, we could but no blog fodder! ;->
Cheers and hope you feel better, doc.
Is Blackdog a German Sorthaired Pointer? Just curious - lovely dog! Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteShe's a mutt, and we got her as a rescue dog. Basically, we have no idea.
ReplyDeleteWe're doing the crud here, too, passing it back and forth like a beachball.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. Hope I feel better soon. Hope my kids wake up and do my chores for me.
A Happy New Year to you all too---from Maggie the devil dog and her mouthpiece T.J. The crud has ben here and now hopefully gone! Get well! CP
ReplyDeleteChick's mutt face 1 and mutt face 2 wish you a happy new year too! they are (as we speak) sleeping off the doggie equivalent of a hang over in bed with Mr chick. Too much raw hide, pizza crusts, and barbecued pork.
ReplyDeleteSeamus and Bailey say "Hope you're feeling better soon!!"
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year from Beetlejuice, Nutterbutter, Blimpie, and Mennopaws (the cuddly cats). The other cats are more like "yeah, so?".
ReplyDeleteWho knew that Dr. Fizzy was actually a dog! (haha -- JOKE, people)
ReplyDeletei can't see cooper's eyes :D
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of the dogs, but please please tell Mary not to give those hard bones to them anymore! I wish those things were banned from pet stores and they were on lists of things not to feed to your dogs. Being a vet, I've had to extract too many broken teeth because of those things. And I won't mention all of the dogs with gastritis/esophagitis from bone fragments.
ReplyDeleteOK, off my soap box for the rest of New Years Day. :)
Thanks Dr. Grumpy for a year full of laughs. I hope there are many more to come.
ReplyDeleteWe call our mutt, our wonder dog. We wonder what kind of dog she is.
Best wishes to you and yours for the new year and feel better soon!!
No picture of Fancy??? LOL
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better.
I'm in bed with the crud too. Hope we both feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteJimmie Butt, my min pin, says Happy New Year!
Hoping you feel better soon! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Feel better..probably in time to go to
ReplyDeletework! Thank you for all the comic
relief this year!
I've got the crud as well, and the 3 cats here are lording it over me by wanting to vigorously play, claws out. Too bad when I wanted to take a nap; when I closed the bedroom door, the ensuing yowling and scratching sounded like a feline version of West Side Story.
ReplyDeleteOh well, as the saying goes, love hurts. They might be pests at times, but they are good company. I hope that you get better soon, and that the rest of the Grumpy tribe doesn't get it.
Happy New Year from Pepper, Kingston and Roxie and an especially good one from the Chocolate Lab and Basset who were at the village store on Friday but got reunited with their owners (otherwise they'd be here, too). :)
ReplyDeleteThe family that sticks together gets sick together. Get well soon, and Happy New Year to all from Mensa, Clementine and Squeak, the feline rulers of the universe (or at least this house).
ReplyDeletewv=zotai: Its what fashionable pets wear to the New Year's party.
Hope you're feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd that 2011 brings you more blog fodder - hehehee
Sorry to hear the year goes out with the crud, but hope 01-01-11 brings more sleep and not much crud.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of pooches.
Potsie (Foxy) the rescue eskie would sing for you, but as far as I know there aren't any operatic tunes for 'Happy New Year to You'! (She can do 'O sole mio' really well as well as 'Funuculi Funicula'.
Get well soon, Grumpy! Love the fur babies! I wish you a terrific new year.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! I had the crud already, back in November, and missed 4 DAYS OF WORK. If I get it again from reading this blog I'm going to take legal action, or maybe just go to the E.R. and tell them you sent me for i.v. Dilaudid as I'm allergic to everything else......
ReplyDeleteLove the pics! I also have 3 dogs who look as different from each other as yours do.
ReplyDeleteDid you name Cooper in honour of Happy Hospitalist's dog?
ReplyDeleteHe's pretty cute all fluffy.
