B. Phone call from a frantic ER doc.
C. Phone call from a bored nurse.
D. My 8-year-old son Craig, who for whatever reason thought it would be funny to turn on his CD player in the middle of the night, playing "YMCA" at full volume.
(If you guessed "D", congratulations! And I had no idea Mrs. Grumpy and the neighbors even read this).

ReplyDeleteNow that will make you grumpy. (chuckle)
ReplyDeleteNow I really can't wait for my kids to grow up!
ReplyDeleteHah.
I think there must have been some crayzee miasma in the air last night. I was awoken shortly after I went to bed by my husband using the compound miter saw on the patio. (TBI survivor, frontal lobe injury.) Thankfully it lasted less than five minutes.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT would have given me a stroke!
ReplyDeleteWhat was it about last night - my husband fell out of bed TWICE (and he was sleeping while it happened - no other "antics" were taking place). Just - fell out of bed.
ReplyDelete8 year olds have such odd sense of humor, but at the same time...I've got to tell you, that's one hilarious thing to do to your folks! My parents would of killed me over a stunt like that!
ReplyDeleteI was playing PlayStation the other day with a 12 year old...who in the middle of the game started belting out "Super freak, she's a super freak, she's super freaky" in the middle of our game...and then he told me I had weird toes...and the kid couldn't even see my toes, as i was wearing shoes. I think he was trying to "trash talk" me...but in 12 year old world..trash talking is telling someone they have weird toes! *shrugs*...kids are strange at best.
