Patient quote
“Sorry if my speech is slurred, doc. I was really nervous about the appointment so I took 2 Vicodin and some marijuana gummies while I was driving over."
"And what's the deal with those childproof Vicodin bottles, anyway? It took me both hands to open it, which was a real pain while I was going 75 on the freeway."
At the end of the appointment who called Uber? I guess it’s just not only me who wants to leave and move to the Yukon Territory what is happening in our world
What is your protocol for dealing with a patient who drives himself to the office and is found to be unfit to drive safely or legally? That must come up fairly often in neurology.

ReplyDelete"If you were watching 'The Rise of Skywalker' on your phone, you'd also need something to help you get through it."
ReplyDelete"Whenever i go to the doctor, I'm always afraid that I'm going to be judged for my drug use and unsafe driving practices. This helps me cope."

DeleteI'm so glad that I can work from home. I do not want to share the road with these guys. Ever.
ReplyDeleteSounds like someone that has to study for a TB test.
ReplyDelete"I'm not even sure why I was so nervous. Probably the shrooms."
ReplyDelete"Of course, I'll probably need a little more later, before I scrub in for surgery."
ReplyDelete"So anyway, I wanted to see you about my memory issues and my hand/eye coordination"
