I don't understand why people say "healthy as a horse" and "sick as a dog." I mean, having worked extensively with both species I would say that dogs generally speaking are hardier beasts and horses more prone to weird illnesses and injuries. Just saying.
So, in other words, other than being at death's door, she's perfectly fine?
