Dragon gone bad

On rounds yesterday I encountered a urologist in the doctor's lounge, laughing hysterically as he proofed his dictations (done by the hospital's Dragon system).

His sentence “due to ejaculatory problems he runs into issues during intercourse.”

Had been changed to  “due to ejaculatory problems he runs into her shoes during intercourse.”

I cracked up, too.

  2. My favorite was "her mother is ailing and lives in a rest home" became "her mother is an alien and lives in a restaurant."

  7. Runs into her shoes?

Such an extreme case of PE that he pops upon seeing her remove her shoes? :)

  8. Well, yea, you don't want to mess with her shoes. You'll never hear the end of that!

  9. Really? Wouldn't "issues" be more likely to autocorrect to "his shoes?"

  11. Sounds like something one of those fancy, schmancy anticholinergics could help e.g. oxybutynin or some such, except Beer's criteria was been updated and expanded in November, (don't want to increase cognition or dementia risks); how's the BPH?

  13. We had a tech writer for aerospace vehicle training manuals who totally trusted the spell checker. The writer appeared to claim that the aircraft did not have a intercooler coolant loop, but rather had an intercourse coolant loop. Much hilarity ensued in the office on review.

  14. Who thinks that the original dictation was amusing of its own accord? "Issues" during ejaculation? Anyone??
