Pictures from the road

Because when you hit a bump on the freeway at 75 mph, nothing holds your overloaded trunk closed better than a few strips of tape.

"That looks safe, Ed. Now use some to re-attach the differential."

  8. I have seen the entire rear bumper taped onto the back of the car. Not unusual, I'm afraid to say.

  12. That looks like Gorilla tape. That stuff will hold the trunk for a highway trip. I had a headlight taped into my car for many months and Gorilla tape held it in nicely at highway speeds.

    It will, however, leave a nasty residue on the paint.
