No, that's right. SERE is the Navy SEALS' torture resistance training. Certainly all docs have undergone this and practice resisting torture at the hospital, hence, "RE-SERED".
Parents- how can you tell if your kids are taking part in the dangerous new fad called "V-stenciling?" First, check your stencil sets and see if any of them are mysteriously missing the letter "V"...
Where's the V? The painter obviously meant "revered."
ReplyDeleteWell, at least it doesn't say "resected".

ReplyDelete"great googly-oogly, who are the Chefs?"
ReplyDeleteAnyone else remember that commercial?
Teughcats, as a KC native, I *LOVE* that commercial. Snickers, I think.
ReplyDelete"Resurrected" wouldn't fit on the parking bumper.
ReplyDeleteNot surprised. My city's paper had a headline this morning that read "Tornado removes rooves from McMinville homes"
ReplyDeleteRooves? Really? My house has a roof. What really ticked me off was they used the same 'word' in the story. Sigh.
PLEASE not "revered." Many MDs think they have been canonized or undergone an apotheosis upon receiving their MD degree.
ReplyDeleteI shudder to think what would happen to some MD egos.

ReplyDeleteWell at least it doesnt say 'artisan'!!!!!!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/rooves <--- rooves is a word, albeit slightly archaic, but in the dictionary.
ReplyDeleteI guess it's better than "severed doctor"...
ReplyDeleteThe sadness that there is not more spell check in life (or at least tracing the letters first and repainting).
ReplyDeleteIf you are RE-SERED as Anon 956 said, you deserve combat pay.
Slightly off topic, but it does have to do with parking...
ReplyDeleteI had an appt Thursday at my local World Famous Medical Center. The license tag on a car parked near mine jumped out at me...
"GRUMPY7'
Is that some new obscure specialty? :)
ReplyDeleteWhy the hell do they have the docs painting their own parking blocks?
