My husband's father saw fit to show him his Viagra when my husband visited them. Because everybody wants to know that his dad can still raise the missile.
This is the same father who offered to let my husband, who was then my boyfriend, and me share their shower in the master bath. "[My wife] and I shower together all the time," he boasted. I almost threw up.
A friend of mine once did a stand-up comedy routine on our campus (he's actually quite good). One of his bits stemmed from the fact that his father was...well, a rocket scientist. A real one.
But while an excellent scientist, he struggled when it came to delivering "the talk" to his son.
So, as my friend noted, "He could program a missile so it would land within a thirty-foot radius on a target thousands of miles away. But when it came to delivering MY payload...."
I *like* it!!!
