When my son started preschool the teacher told us to always double check their pockets before we leave the house. Not that I have anything to hide, but in the past they have had cigarettes show up in kids pockets.
A Friend of mine teaches pre-school and one pupil carefully made a construction using a clothes pin and a twig. When asked what he was making, he said "A roach clip".
my kid fished a branch out of the river that a beaver had chewed up and took it for show and tell and given it's sharp (gnawed) end I was worried we'd get a weapons call.
I'm dumbfounded. Poor kid to grow up thinking that's normal and a great thing to show everyone.
ReplyDeleteShells are cool. Everyone liked the choo-choo train I took to show & tell.

ReplyDeleteIt's to be hoped the relatives aren't into the same hobbies...
ReplyDeletePoor little kiddo. Maybe it's a good thing that he brought the paraphernalia in. He and his Mom can both get the help they need. :-(
