So what? Men have been pregnant before. It's just a case of a mixed up lab result- which is terrible, of course. However if a cis woman got those results it wouldn't warrant an article.
The fact that the office sent out that letter just means they are trans* inclusive in their screw ups.
I've had labels put on my medication by the pharmacy that have advised me not to take it while breastfeeding, and to alert my doctor if it caused irregular periods. I just smiled at the pharmacist and said "that really WOULD be irregular..."
It's like the Great Spam Mystery in our house, in which my husband gets all the emails trying to sell him breast enlargement products, and I get all the emails trying to sell me products that either increase the size of my penis or increase the volume of my semen. I pride myself on having fooled not only my husband but numerous doctors, including several OBGYNs, into thinking I am a woman. Apparently I am a man who has borne (and breastfed) four children. Awesome, huh?
