Eating Healthy After a Stroke

This is from last September, I meant to put it up before, but somehow misplaced it on the computer.

Anyway, I had a stroke survivor in the office, who asked me for information she could take home. I did a quick internet search, and found the Mayo Clinic website about stroke.

The information was good. Like many websites (including mine), Mayo sells ad space.

Unfortunately, the ad displayed on the stroke-prevention page was for Jack-in-the-Box tacos!

I just LOVE where it says "Tools for healthier lives" above and to the left of the taco ad.

  1. Since when did Jack-in-the-Box start selling Tacos? Mayo clinic is always so ahead of the game. They are revolutionary!

  2. I lived on JITB tacos for six years of school. Thank god I am going to die of the job-stress-induced heart attack I so richly deserve instead of stroke. I wanted to drink myself to death, but have you seen the price of Absolut lately?

  3. Reality Rounds- I can't remember when JITB didn't sell tacos.

    Without them and Ramen soup I might have starved to death in college.

  5. I think JIB jalapeno poppers are an essential nosh after a late night drinking binge and my other favorite the Ultimate Bacon Cheese burger, guaranteed to clog at least one artery upon completion!

  6. Like how Jenny Craig is owned by Nestle and (in Australia anyway) The Heart Foundation Tick is on McDonalds food.
