We went to Mackinac Island this summer and this time visited their lighthouse museum. It was an excellent trip back in time.Celestenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5883634615775822475.post-32720988862780838302009-11-27T14:42:22.046-05:002009-11-27T14:42:22.046-05:00I saw a program on that particular ship and storm ...I saw a program on that particular ship and storm on some channel not all that long ago...maybe it was the Weather Channel or the History Channel...Very interesting story.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5883634615775822475.post-1697862383144836632009-11-27T12:50:51.532-05:002009-11-27T12:50:51.532-05:00thanks for the story! It was recently discovered in the depths of the Yukon's legendary lake Laberge.

The only book I've read about the sea was one written by my friend Derek Lundy. Godforesaken Sea is about a yacht race that went terribly wrong.

Indeed, the sea is a formidable force and I for one stay safely out of it.ToBlog todayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15215485087602615189noreply@blogger.com
