His shunt was placed within 12 hours of the diagnosis - so we didn't really have much of a "relationship" with the neuro let alone the surgeon. <br /><br />So? My husband and I are in the OR waiting room and the surgeon comes out, finds us and says " the surgery was a success, everything went well, do you have any questions?" ...
