Our next door neighbor also had a little boy about his age who was into trains. That was back in the days when kids could go outside and play without fear of being kidnapped. My brother and the neighbor's kid took their toy trains outside and walked about a mile and a half (maybe 2) to a real train track and were playing trains on the REAL train track. OY! Anyway, a police car happened to drive by and saw two little boys sitting in the middle of a train track. He put them in the car but they apparently realized that they were in "trouble" so they wouldn't tell the cop who they were or where they lived. He was able to get them to tell him where they lived by promising to turn on the siren.

Oh what a commotion that was when the cop showed up at our house.

We lived in a tiny town back east where kids would just go out and play so my brother not being around was no big deal back then. My mother probably thought he was next door and the next door neighbor probably thought her son was at our house.bbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05060373657650063777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5883634615775822475.post-39006155828064373132010-03-15T00:10:28.379-04:002010-03-15T00:10:28.379-04:00I love Kid Logic. He is right; it does stick stuff together.

I have had to use "other" products when I couldn't find the glue. May I suggest Flour Paste? Mix a couple of teaspoons of flour and just enough water to make a thick paste. It will stick stuff together and doesn't attract ants.Dananoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5883634615775822475.post-10062162325645585192010-03-14T20:43:16.619-04:002010-03-14T20:43:16.619-04:00I can't stop laughing at this one.
